Collagen Induction Therapy

The next generation of skin health is here with Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT). CIT uses medical grade stainless steel micro needles to penetrate the surface of the skin. This creates micro tunnels within the skin which allows topical nutrients to be effectively absorbed into the skin. The penetration of the micro needles creates a natural wound healing response which regenerates skin cells. This essentially kick starts your own collagen and elastin without causing damage to the epidermis.

There are many amazing affects of Collagen Induction Therapy such as minimising fine lines, reducing pore size, improving skin texture, aiding in penetration of topical active ingredients, producing new growth factors, increasing natural collagen formation, reducing scar appearance and preventing premature ageing.

CIT is suitable for most skin types, however adequate skin preparation is required to ensure a safe format for optimum skin health. We use Dermaviduals exclusively with CIT as it is free from emulsifiers, silicones, fragrance, colours, preservatives and parabens. These harmful ingredients are not suitable to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin that are exposed by CIT treatments, so we ensure that high quality, pure and active ingredients, such as those composed in Dermaviduals, provide perfect association for skin repair, rejuvenation and effective results. It is vital prior to CIT that your skin is prepared and in optimum health with Dermaviduals to achieve best results.

We are always looking at ways to improve our services and exceed our clients expectations and we feel we have definitely done that with adding in our NEW Nouvelle Cellulose facial mask to CIT treatments to optimise skin health and client comfort with no additional charge. The mask is made from raw vegetable materials, it is 100% cellulose which is nature’s natural collagen. The mask follows the facial outline like a second skin to calm and soothe redness, reduce inflammation, increase hydration, support skin barrier function, reduce itching & reduce swelling. The mask can be reapplied after your treatment, we advise usage no longer than 8 hours as it is preservative free.

All of our therapists are highly trained and experienced in skin health to provide you with safe and effective results. For optimum results we recommend a course of three treatments, six weeks apart with a follow up appointment one week after CIT for a complimentary enzyme treatment.
